ACCEPTOR AND DONOR IMPURITY-RELATED OPTICAL ABSORPTION SPECTRA IN DOUBLE QUANTUM WELLS: ELECTRIC FIELD AND HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE EFFECTS

Resumen

The hydrostatic pressure and applied electric field dependencies on the shallow-impurity related optical absorption spectra in GaAs-Ga1−xAlxAs double quantum wells are calculated. Results are obtained for different well and barrier widths. A pressure dependent blue-shift and electric field dependent read-shift in the absorption spectra have been described for two different cases of symmetrical double quantum well systems.
